CERTIFICATION FOR A Career

A career as an Assistive Mobility or Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) repair technician has huge potential!

There are many opportunities for individuals with a basic mechanical aptitude to find new careers within the growing Assistive Mobility or CRT technician field. The industry currently has approximately 11,000 technicians, and there is an expected increase in the wheelchair user population of 25% due to population increases and retiring baby boomers.

AMRG is committed to establishing and overseeing universal standards for repair technicians in the Assistive Mobility and CRT industry. The AMRG certification serves as a benchmark within the rehab industry, offering two distinct levels of certification.
